For the past two years, the Rock Make Street Festival has celebrated the Bay Area’s arts and music communities, bringing them together for a hell of an all day party on the streets of San Francisco’s Mission District. Proudly presented by The Bay Bridged, Tartufi, and Whizbang Fabrics, the Rock Make Street Festival returns to 18th Street and Treat Avenue on Sunday, August 22nd, 2010.
This year’s festival will be TWICE the size of last year’s event, expanding to three stages of all local and kids’ rock bands and over 100 arts and crafts vendors.
While both are flourishing in the Bay Area underground, the crafts and music worlds rarely meet, making this a unique opportunity to sample the best in new and emerging Bay Area handicrafts, visual arts, fashion and live indie rock all at one awesome event celebrating the power of creativity and DIY spirit. We are currently accepting submissions for vendors and interested bands for this year’s festival!
