Mother's Day Arts & Crafts Faire Looking for Vendors (livermore)

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association (LAFRA) is presenting an Arts & Crafts Faire at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Livermore for Saturday May 1st from 10AM to 4PM.  This faire is being staged to attract customers to purchase gifts for Mothers, Grandmothers, Great-grandmothers or even Daughters and other Special Women.

We will advertise our event with flyers and ads in the Pleasanton Weekly Marketplace, Valley Times, Tri Valley Herald, Penny Saver, and Craig’s List, Independent and the Tri Valley Visitors Bureau.  We will also have signage in and around the building. Each of you will receive flyers to post in local establishments, your church bulletin, hand out to friends and family.

All items must be handmade or homegrown by the crafter and/or their family.  Also, no political or controversial materials are allowed.  If merchandise is misrepresented or deemed unfit, you will be asked to withdraw from the faire and your fee will not be refunded.

Parking will be available at the Veteran’s Building for loading and unloading.  Please move your vehicle at least 1 block away during our event to allow customers easy access to our arts and crafts.

Saturday, there will be a snack bar consisting of beverages, breakfast treats, lunch items and snacks.  Food will be available for purchase. 

We have a limited number of tables available.  The fee for an 8 foot table will by $30.  The tables are available on a first come first serve basis. Proceeds will benefit Operation Sam for women serving in Iraq and Iran.  Your checks should be made payable to:  The Fleet Reserve Association (LAFRA) Unit 287.  Send checks to:                                     Polly Stonich
